Volkswagen Group grows deliveries in first year

The Volkswagen Group has said that it grows its vehicle deliveries in the first half of 2013, recording 4.45 and +5.5 per cent increase of sales to customers worldwide.
The automaker said its deliveries made satisfactory progress even though market conditions were not always easy. “However, the economic climate remains tense, especially in Europe. We remain on course and are entering the second half of the year with confidence. Nevertheless, the enormous challenges persist,” VW said.
